The Flower Raj      'That Other Raj - Travellers & Seekers in the Land of the Gods' I am gathering material for a new web site: The Flower Raj It will archive & document the written, pictorial & oral histories of travellers & seekers who set out from the West, in the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s, to travel to India. Some are still there; some never returned; some just disappeared; some died there or returned home & died. Others live; before they all pass away we need to record their sometimes ground-breaking achievements, their sometimes hilarious situations, their lives, their loves, their highs & their lows. Currently a holding page, be patient, a lot is going on behind the scenes. I now have good multiblog web hosting at Midwales.Com ; I am looking for a timeline progam running under Linux that will allow me to construct a database intersecting people, locations & times. Please contact me if you wish to become involved or if you have any stories, articles, photographs, videos, audio tapes, or just plain snippets, nuggets of Indian Gold. Note that information on Indian travellers to the West is also of interest & will be included, this was always a two way love affair.
